Common Questions
Some of the things people often ask us before bringing in a watch.
How do I know if my watch needs a service?
A few signs worth noting: the watch is losing or gaining time noticeably, the crown feels stiff, the case has not been opened in several years, or it was stored away for a long period. We are happy to take a look and tell you honestly what we find.
Will you tell me the cost before starting?
Yes, always. For standard services the pricing is fixed and we share it upfront. For Legacy Overhaul work on older pieces, we examine the watch first and prepare a written summary before anything is agreed.
How long does a service typically take?
A Daily Watch Service is usually ready within one to two working days. A Full Service and Accuracy Check typically takes three to five days. Legacy Overhaul work on older or complex movements may take two to four weeks — we will give you a clearer idea once we have assessed the piece.
Do you work on all watch brands?
We work on most mechanical and quartz watches — Swiss, Japanese, and Thai brands included. If a piece requires manufacturer-specific tooling we do not have, we will be straightforward about that and may suggest alternatives.
Is my watch safe while it is with you?
All watches left with us are stored securely on the premises. We keep a written record for each piece and will contact you promptly if anything unexpected arises during the work.
Can I bring in a watch from abroad?
Of course. Many visitors to Phuket come to us during their stay. If the service timeline is longer than your trip, we can arrange to return the watch by post within Thailand, or hold it safely until your next visit.
